    Good morning,
I would like to know if it's OK to use Siemens twin circuit breakers in a Siemens panel that is a commercial bolt/screw on type panel? It's a 200amp 240v panel that is pulling a nominal 40amps, the problem is the panel is full.

The thing is they don't sell bolt/screw in twin breakers, but the buss is set up to accommodate both as both breakers have the same buss bar blade contact but the commercial breaker has an additional attachment to bolt the breaker down to the buss bar.
I've been given mixed answers to this question so your input will be appreciated.

    Thanks

I am not aware of any code rules on whether push in or bolt in breakers are required in a particular type occupancy. If there was a rule, it would be in 14-300 to 14-308. In the past I have seen single bolt-in Siemens breakers removed and twin Siemens push-in breakers installed, for the very reason you are describing. However there might be a local amendment or a building specification issue.
